The Problem

Island life in Thailand runs on WhatsApp groups, word of mouth, and cash-in-hand. Getting a plumber on Koh Samui means asking your villa manager, who asks their contact, who might show up. No pricing transparency, no accountability, no booking system.

KohWork is a hyperlocal service marketplace designed for this reality — not imported from Silicon Valley, but built for Thai island constraints.

The Team

KohWork features the deepest Agentic Emergence applied to a product team — 5 emerged agents plus a full CTO emergence (37 files, 14 layers):

The team was emerged specifically for mobile-first, non-English, marketplace products — each agent has deep Thai market knowledge and real cultural context.

The Progress

Phase 1 (Foundation) is complete with 12 execution plans and full UAT. Key features:

  • 3-app architecture: Client (Flutter), Provider (Flutter, 100% Thai UI), Admin (Next.js)
  • Phone OTP + Social login with mandatory phone linking
  • Dual-persona support (user can be both client and provider)
  • "Tropical Cyber-Luxury" aesthetic with shimmer loading
  • Full i18n (EN/TH) with Thai-aware typography

Company: Koh Work Co., Ltd. — registered Thai company (0845567010811) Market: Koh Samui — 3,000+ villas, 2M+ annual tourists Launch target: Songkran (April 13, 2026)
